The OActive project 24M meeting took place in Palermo on 25th of November 2019 hosted by Ri.MED. All partners presented the work performed and their future plans. Ri.MED offered a guided tour of the consortium in its premises.
On 26th of November a training session was organised by AXIA Innovation with the support of Project Coordinator from University of Nicosia and Ri.MED. A training session was organised in order to ensure the best understanding and the efficient transfer of knowledge among RTD and computational partners. The ultimate goal was to bridge the two different worlds giving an opportunity of communication.
On 15 May 2019, OActive partners participated in the review meeting of the project that took place in Luxembourg. The meeting was held in order to assess the first 18 months of the project and discuss feedback on the activities carried out during this period. During the meeting, the project WP leaders presented their achievements to the Project officer and the reviewers, who provided useful comments on the progress of the project. Twelve-months meeting of the OActive H2020 project took place on the 27th of November in Valencia, Spain, in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Health Research Institute La Fe. All partners attended the meeting and discussed on management and administrative issues, the work plan, the progress so far across the different work packages, as well as the future steps aiming to the successful implementation of the project. In fact two working groups where formed after half of the meeting: “Biomechaniscs Group” and “Biomedical Group” to further discuss on specific technical issues that need to be tackled.
The 6M OActive project meeting took place in Liverpool on 30 May of 2018. Hosted by Prof. Bill Baltzopoulos at the Liverpool John Moores University (UK), OActive 6M meeting gathered 13 partners: eight RTDs and five companies from seven EU countries. It was a good opportunity for partners to meet and discuss the progress of the running work packages, their results and the activities to come. Partners also discussed more thoroughly about Biomechanics and Biomedical issues, as well as technical and ethics issues arising from the OActive project.
AXIA and Time.lex had a meeting on 18 April 2018 in Brussels regarding collaboration of the two entities under OActive project. During the meeting ethical issues related to data management plan, as well as legal issues concerning the collection and use of data from patients and also healthy individuals were discussed.
On March 9th and 10th OActive partners AXIA and CETRI met at the AXIA office in Munich, Germany. The discussion focused on the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) plan of the project and the Data Management Plan (DMP). Data collection protocols were discussed in correlation to the DMP and the documentation of social parameters. Furthermore, the OActive webpage was reviewed and upcoming activities related to the dissemination and exploitation plan were analyzed.
The OActive project officially started on 1st November 2017 (Project ID: 777159 Funded under: SC1-PM-17-2017 – Personalised computer models and in-silico systems for well-being). The project’s kick off meeting was hosted by the Department of Life and Health Sciences, University of Nicosia, Cyprus, on the 27-28/11/2017, with 11 partners attending from 6 European countries. This was the first meeting of the consortium giving the partners the opportunity to meet in person and establish contacts between various European regions. During the meeting, partners thoroughly discussed the project planning and implementation.
