The OActive Project hosted the virtual workshop on personalized predictive models with the support of AXIA Innovation.
The workshop included presentations of the main OActive technologies, such as Biomechanical predictive models for Osteoarthritis management and Augmented reality (AR) interventions for Osteoarthritis. Moreover, similar EU-funded projects presented their work in this area.
OActive Project partner Fondazione Ri.MED has successfully developed an Osteoarthritis in vitro model based on viable osteochondral tissues. Such a model was released inducing a LPS-mediated inflammation on healthy cartilage and bone Histochemistry analyses showed the presence of the characteristic signs of OA after LPS stimulation.
